Welcome to
Hadithi C.I.C

A community interest company and social enterprise.

At Hadithi C.I.C we offer ways of remembering, learning and connecting. We work with heritage and cultural organisations, as well as community groups, academic bodies, and schools.

We are particularly interested in narratives from and about the margins: in revealing and highlighting stories often obscured. We believe that these hidden histories can help us better understand the world we live in today. We are passionate and committed to delivering these stories widely.

At Hadithi C.I.C., we specialise in research-led practices, cultural heritage, diversity and inclusion, in conjunction with narratives of migration.

Revealing hidden histories

August 2022 marked two anniversaries: the 50th anniversary of South Asian expulsion from Uganda; and the 75th anniversary of partition and independence.

Hadithi Founder Dr. Maya Parmar talked to ITV news explaining why South Asian heritage, history and migration is such a crucial part of British history.

During the same year Hadithi C.I.C delivered the project Hidden Heritages in Cambridgeshire.
